Our training began around the same time as we became established, basically as when we continuously provided good cover, members of the public and events organizers commented

          “Wow what a great service, wish I knew first aid”

          This set us thinking “what if we could provide event cover AND pre hospital emergency treatment courses including first aid courses”. Hence, our up to date first aid and advanced first aid courses, fully up to date with the 2006 HSE regulations that many companies are yet still not teaching. Providing the best possible teaching environment and fully qualified staff is the goal and we are pleased to now offer the following courses;

o       Emergency aid- This is a one day course, which looks at basic life support and the recovery position, and is ideal for anyone who wishes they knew what to do in that emergency situation.

o       HSE First Aid at Work- This HSE approved course is a legal requirement for anyone acting as a first aider in their workplace. This course is a complete 4 day package looking at all the necessary skills needed to deal with any emergency, not only in the work place but also in the home.

o       Paediatric first aid- This course looks at specialist training for babies and children and covers infant choking and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This is ideal for anyone working in an environment with children, particularly teachers and child minders.

o       Oxygen Administration- This course looks at oxygen therapy, when and when not to give oxygen and how to deal with airway management and unconscious patients. This is ideal for those who perform CPR in hazardous environments

*Please note* for the oxygen administration course a First Aid at Work certificate is needed.
